What an unexpected sensation in the midst of more serious concerns that affect the game of cricket! England fast bowler, James Anderson, has managed to raise eyebrows, posing naked for “Attitude” magazine’s October issue.
Now that the much married Anderson has once again shed his white flannels for a birthday suit for a gay magazine, it is creating an unusual sensation. Anderson is married with a child and another on the way, and he seems rather comfortable appeasing to the gay community that would idolize the handsome cricketer. It certainly would not harm his gay icon status, and the magazine sales are set to soar, because interest in Anderson is not restricted to any one gender it would appear.
Another cricketer who went shirtless and garnered a lot of interest was South Africa’s Wayne Parnell, but Anderson appears to be taking the cake on this one.
It is not as if Anderson was going nude for the first time. He featured prominently, covered strategically by a cricket bat alongside fellow England cricketers, Stuart Broad and Alastair Cook, in a campaign to raise male cancer awareness through the Everyman campaign. All for charity, and no one said a thing.
