Steyn and Morkel Will Dive with ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

  Taking the promotion of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 a bolder step further, a unique event has been organized at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo where two South African cricketers will be seen in action, on a different turf, with only 100 days left until the start of the World Cup.

   Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel will take part in a shark dive in the presence of the South African cricket team as well as the Pakistan cricket team with ICC chief executive, Haroon Lorgat in the mix come Tuesday.
   
      Dubai Aquarium is one of the largest indoor aquariums of its kind in the world at 51m x 20m x 11m in size and holds the Guinness World Record for ‘The Single Largest Acrylic Panel’ at 32.88m long x 8.3m high. A 48-metre walk-through tunnel provides 270-degree views from 11 metres below the surface of the tank. With the capacity to hold 10 million litres of water, Dubai Aquarium illuminates the marvels of the ocean floor and showcases one of the most diverse collections of aquatic life worldwide. Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo has more than 33,000 aquatic animals, representing more than 250 species. Over 400 sharks and rays live inside this tank, including the largest collection of Sand Tiger Sharks in the world.
